Want to say “welcome” to Amani ya Juu in its new Washington, DC home? We are looking for in-kind donations as well as financial gifts toward furniture, equipment, and supplies to outfit our new space.
Below are lists of needed items for the office, shop, and warehouse. Please take a look and let us know if you’d like to help out.

Telephones: $150 for a set of 3
4 Desks: $800 ($200 each)
Office Equipment (staplers, scissors, filing cabinet, label maker, hole punch): $500
2 Bookshelves: $400
3 Wall Clocks: $45
For the shop…
DVD Player & Television: $75
Hospitality Supplies (mugs, utensils, thermoses, tea kettle): $100
Display Shelving: $4000 ($500 per section, 8 sections needed)
2 Mannequins: $300 ($150 each)
Jewelry Display: $300
10 Baskets: $150 ($15 each)
Vacuum Cleaner: $150
2 strings of Christmas white lights
For the warehouse…
Lumber for shelves: $200 (labor donated)
Technical Items (power cord, lamps, light bulbs, duct tape, nails): $300
Dolly: $75
Note: In-kind donations are particularly useful for the office and warehouse. We would like to allocate monetary donations for purchasing coordinating furniture for the shop.
